Javanet Swot Analysis

With the popularity of the Internet rising, more people depend upon its uses as well as finding convenient places to use this service. The business I chose to analyze is called “JavaNet,” which is an Internet café chain. Since Internet cafes’ are beginning to surface, this venture will prove to be a profitable one. Not to mention that this venture will also offer coffee, specialty drinks and bakery items to its customers, which will help to popularize this business. The Internet café idea will not be considered a fad because as more technology is being introduced, the public is taking advantage of what is being offered and the convenient ways of using it.
      JavaNet has experienced and creative leaders and researchers. “JavaNet is a privately held Oregon Limited Liability Corporation. Cale Bruckner, who is the founder of JavaNet, is the majority owner. Luke Walsh, Doug Wilson and John Underwood, all hold minority stock positions as private investors” (Company Ownership). Owner Cale Bruckner has done research on the location of the first café, which will be located in downtown Eugene, Oregon (Company Locations and Facilities). This location was chosen because it is in an upscale, business community and the cost of rent is low (Company Locations and Facilities). Eugene is an ideal location for the first JavaNet because of the large amount of coffee consumers and Internet users. “JavaNet will be the first Internet café in the area” (Competitive Comparison). JavaNet customers will be able to experience a relaxing time by partaking in different types of coffees, specialty drinks and baked goods while surfing the Internet.
