Introduction
In the second quarter of our 7th semester we were about to build groups and work on a report that concerns the strategic management of a certain company that we choose. Our group consisted of 3 people, Alexander Huber, Philipp Ufelmann and Reza Azodi – Deilami. The company we decided to work with is the BMW Group from Germany, Munich. The main tasks in this report were to analyse and evaluate the internal and external operations of the company, assess the strategies that are already implemented and analyse the forces that drive the company.
We started with a quick scan of the company where all important information about the company is given as history, figures and management style. The further steps were about analysing the internal and external factors through different schemes and matrixes. By combining knowledge we gained from the lectures “Strategic Management” and the information we got about the company we could come up with a conclusion that is based on the strategies BMW Group is aiming for now and strategies we would sugges ...
